Compressors & gas systems

Defined-duty equipment enquiries

Compressor and gas-system enquiries should distinguish an existing machine’s spare parts from a new package duty. PatLoc coordinates air-compressor, air-treatment and process-gas component enquiries using datasheets, service conditions and OEM references.

Clarify air or process-gas duties using the equipment datasheet, design basis and OEM references. Specialist packages need a defined engineering scope.

Explore the enquiry scope.

  • Air compressors
  • Compressor spares
  • Air dryers
  • Air-treatment components
  • Gas-compressor component enquiries
  • Gas-system package enquiries

Product families describe enquiry scope. Availability, technical suitability, documentation and delivery terms are confirmed for each requirement.

Before requesting a quotation

Describe the medium and duty

Provide air duty or gas composition, capacity, suction and discharge conditions, temperature and customer-specified materials or design requirements.

Define package boundaries

Identify the driver, controls, treatment equipment, connection points and utilities included in the request. State which engineering and inspection responsibilities sit with each party.

Buyer questions

Can an air dryer be included with a compressor RFQ?

Yes. Provide the required air quality, operating conditions, flow and interface details so the full treatment scope can be identified.

What is needed for compressor spares?

OEM, model, serial number and full component references are the best starting point. Add a drawing and service history where changes affect the current configuration.
