Casing, tubing & accessories

Oil country tubular goods (OCTG) cover casing, production tubing and associated accessories used in well construction and production. PatLoc coordinates sourcing enquiries around the buyer’s tubular schedule, connection requirements and acceptance documents. Casing and tubing are reviewed separately from line pipe and drill pipe.

Bring your casing and tubing requirements into focus. Share the material schedule, connection details and documentation requirements for a specification-led sourcing review.

Before requesting a quotation

Define the full tubular schedule

State outside diameter, weight or wall thickness, grade, lengths, quantities and the customer-specified standard and edition. List pup joints and accessories separately so a complete scope can be compared.

Treat the connection as a requirement

Provide the exact thread or connection designation, approved manufacturer and any licensing or compatibility conditions. A dimensional resemblance does not confirm interchangeability. Material and inspection records should be agreed before ordering.

Buyer questions

Can one enquiry include casing and tubing?

Yes. Separate the sizes, grades, connections and quantities into individual lines. Mark critical delivery dates and any approved alternatives for each line.

Can I request a particular mill or premium connection?

Include the approved mill list and exact connection designation. PatLoc reviews source availability; a catalogue listing does not imply manufacturer authorisation or access to every connection.
